This automated rain gauge is designed for unattended operation in remote locations. It uses a tipping bucket mechanism to collect and measure rainfall with high accuracy. The collected data is then transmitted wirelessly via GPRS for remote monitoring. The device also features a knife edge collector for efficient rain capture, an integrated bubble level for precise installation, and a built-in data logger for storing rainfall measurements.
